Watch your Death

10.21.13
http://www.cnn.com/2013/10/18/tech/social-media/apparently-this-matters-death-watch/index.html

A watch that can tell you when your going to die... that sounds insane, but it seems to be real. Its name is Tikker, it "counts down your life, in order to make the world a better place." They assume that that if you know the time of your death would you really change or make a difference. or  would you have one last act of defiance?

The Tikker watch counts down to your death. Happy days! Here are some other notable countdowns that are far less morbid.

The watch still keeps regular time but the main job is to still tell you when your going to die. Tikker comes from the mind of Fredrik Colting who, after his grandfather passed away several years ago, was inspired to create the "death watch" in his honor. Tikker: "Make every second count".
At the time of this writing, with two weeks to go, pledges for the Tikker death watch are at just more than $70,000. Their goal was $25,000.

I honestly will stay as far as away from this device as possible. Its strange and a waste of money. I put everything in the fact that this watch cant predict your crazy accidents

Apple iWatch Rumors

10.7.13
http://www.techradar.com/us/news/portable-devices/apple-iwatch-release-date-news-and-rumours-1131043#article-comments

Apple iWatch release date, news and rumours
Wearable tech sees to be the new and upcoming things in development recently with Samsung, Dell, and even Nissan making whats known as smart watches. Apple is no exception in this market with their new iWatch coming to market soon. Engadget says "According to Bloomburg Apple has a  team of around 100 designers working on a wristwatch-like device that may perform some of the tasks now handled by the iPhone and iPad". The team includes people from all parts of Apple: not just iPad and iPhone engineers but software developers, managers and marketers too.

Although there is an iWatch in the making, there is very little information to be released to the public. Neither a price nor a release date has been mentioned for the device. Only but an anonymously named analyst has mentioned a price range around $150 to $230. Release dates have been very spastic from being "for sure 2013" to "late 2013" to now "late 2014".Apple itself hinted at "exciting new product categories" back in April, with Tim Cook promising "some really great stuff coming in the fall and across all of 2014" - could some of that really great stuff be worn on your wrist?

Apple's iWatch will be really big on fitness. Quite aside from the fact that Apple 'ordered in boxes of Nike Fuelbands' and its CEO Tim Cook sits on the Nike board, there's the fact that Apple's been on a fitness-fueled hiring spree. Jay Blahnik, who as good as confirmed his new full time position at Apple on Twitter before deleting his entire account (wethinks the gentleman doth protest too much).
